The power of your mind (episode 1)

The mind is so powerful compared to other region of the body.
It has the power to make man rich and it also have the power to make man poor.
It has the power to heal sicknesses and it also have the power to create sickness.
The mind has the power to set prisoners free and it also have the power to imprison.

The mind and the brain are quite different from one another ,the mind is a site of consciousness and complete reasonings and thought unlike the brain which interprets the messages being sent by the human mind .
The mind is so powerful just like our tongue

The players celebrated at club headquarters with cigars and branded champagne.

The club's domestic form is yet to translate to continental triumph however, they may have played in the Champions League final against Barcelona last year but that game was widely seen as one they were going to lose, they went on to lose 3-1.

Ogboru resigns from Labour Party

ASABA —DELTA State governorship candidate
of Labour Party, LP, in the 2015 election,
Chief Great Ogboru, yesterday, resigned his
membership of the party, saying he was
leaving with all those that came with him
from the Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, and
others of like mind.
Vanguard gathered that the resignation was
not unconnected with his purported desire to
move to All Progressives Congress, APC and
in fulfilment of the agreement he entered
into with the leadership of LP in the state
and at the national level to the extent that
should he win the election, members of LP
and DPP would form the government with
him and should he fail, the party would revert
to status quo.
Ogboru, in the letter of resignation dated April
26, 2016, addressed to the chairman of LP in
the state, Emeka Nkwoala, said he was
moving out and joining the APC “to provide a
strong, formidable, reliable and credible
alternative to leadership in our state, and by
extension good governance.
“This, of course, is part of our agreement
when we moved enmass to the LP. I have
also written to you as chairman because this
was our understanding with you then, that
we shall revert to you, chairman, in the event
of our mass exodus to a new party.”
Vanguard had reported that the LP and
Accord Party were concluding plans to fuse
into the APC in Delta State with Sir Richard
Odibo leading the LP and Mr. Alfred Oloko
leading the APC in the merger talks.

Former wrestler donates to science

Former WWE wrestler Chyna-whose real name is
Joanie Laurer- who was found dead in her
apartment on Wednesday will have her brain
donated for scientific research according to her
manager, Anthony Anzaldo.
Anzaldo revealed that Laurer had been contacted
to join a concussion lawsuit against WWE by
other former professional wrestlers but they
declined saying they were only interested in
pursuing scientific exploration of the effects a
career in wrestling and a history of domestic
violence has on the brain.

Anzaldo said:
“My hope is that we can do it. I’m in the
process of getting the permission to
speak on behalf of family to tell the
coroner it’s okay to release it.”
We’re not interested in the lawsuit at
all,”.
“We’re just looking for (the
researchers) to give us everything they
can get.”
Anzaldo says the research will include Nigerian
Doctor- Dr. Bennet Omalu, the pathologist who
discovered CTE – Central traumatic
encephalopathy. Omalu and his efforts to bring
CTE awareness to the NFL were the subject of
the Will Smith film Concussion.
Some former pro wrestlers like Mick Foley, Kevin
Nash, John Cena and Jeff Hardy confirmed they
will be donating their brains for study, if it will
help further concussion research, he would be
interested in donating his brain as well.
