65-yr-old man arrested for serial raping of 11-yr-old
A 65-year-old man identified as
Akinlolu Ogunlade who was arrested by men of the Oyo State Police
command, Eleyele in Ibadan, for severally raping an 11-year-old said he
made the minor his sex slave after rejecting several overtures from the
girl before he gave in.
Described as a serial rapist when he was paraded by the Oyo State
Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leye Oyebode, the suspect said he was
arrested at the Akobo area of Ogun State.
“I am 65 years old and I work as a plumber. I was arrested at Akobo
area. The little girl came over to me and started disturbing me to have
sex with her and I told her that she was too small. I told her she
could not do something of such but she replied by telling me that she
could do it.”
12 freed Ghaddafi loyalists found dead in Tripoli
The Libyan Unity government has ordered quick
investigation into the killing of 12 freed Ghaddafi loyalist whose
lifeless bodies were found in Tripoli just days after they were released
from detention.
The victims were part of a group who had been held at the al-Ruwaimi prison, Tripoli’s general prosecutor confirmed.
