A musician who was trying to impress the audience during a live concert ended up breaking his leg after he landed badly on it.

Roiall, a bass player has sustained a horrific leg break during a gig
with a photographer capturing the whole incident when he was on stage.
The Helgorithms musician’s rough landing meant he was immediately aware something was wrong
The
New Zealand musician is reportedly no stranger to mid-show antics, but
this time he fell foul of a horrific injury at the Ding Dong Lounge in
Auckland, bringing a whole new side to the good luck performers’ phrase
‘break a leg’.
A snapper from AJM NZ Photography caught the whole thing on camera, and Mr Roiall has been impressed with the images.
“They captured it from start to finish, which was awesome,” Roiall told Stuff NZ. “If
it wasn’t for the photos, it wouldn’t be as cool a story you know? But
because the photos have captured the moment, it’s awesome.”
“I thought it was alright, and then I looked at my leg and noticed it was pointing the other way to what it should be,” he adds.
After
hospital treatment , he’s now looking at months of physiotherapy to get
back on track, although he admitted that the accident hasn’t been bad
for band publicity.
The Ding Dong Longue venue has also set up a ‘Buy Bailey a beer’ fund, where they match every beer bought for Bailey online.
Last year Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg during a gig in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The
former Nirvana drummer who left the stage to be treated and returned 15
minutes later sat on a chair as a paramedic tended to him.
Grohl
reportedly fell during the band’s performance of “Monkey Wrench” and
remained on the ground for several minutes before being taken backstage.
“Hey, ladies and gentlemen. I love you, but I think I just broke my leg. I really broke leg,” he told the audience.
