The attack in Baghdad was done in revenge for the recent killing of a top ISIS lieutenant
ISIS
said it was behind a car bomb that exploded in a Shiite district of
Baghdad earlier Wednesday, killing at least 52 people and wounding
dozens more, according to Reuters. In
a statement released and circulated on social media, the group says a
suicide bomber named Abu Sliman al-Ansari was sent into teeming Sadr
City to target a gathering of Shiite militias.
