Speaking with a Punch correspondent in Abuja, Oluwaseyi Babatola, who burnt to death five family members while they were sleeping, says he is being haunted daily by the memories of the two children that died along with their grandmother, mother and uncle when he set their apartment on fire on April 15, 2015, at Sabongari, Bwari, in the Federal Capital Territory.

Man stabs twin brother to death while sleeping



A 27-year-old man, Mfom John, has stabbed his twin brother, Israel John, to death on Olorunkemi Street in the Somolu area of Lagos State.
PUNCH Metro gathered that Mfom stabbed the victim more than 70 times in different parts of the body on Monday.
Although no one could state the immediate cause of the incident, relatives and residents told our correspondent that the suspect had always threatened to kill Israel whenever they had disagreements.
He was said to have carried out the threat around 6am while the victim slept and a third occupant of the room, Christopher, was in the kitchen.
The Akwa Ibom State, indigene reportedly stabbed his brother in the neck, head, armpit and stomach till he died.

Surveillance footage from a GameStop video game store in Marylandshows a little boy with a stuffed animal throwing two punches as gunmen ordered him and his family to the ground while they robbed the place.

A 34-year-old mobile phone repairer has been publicly disgraced after he was beaten and nearly stripped n*ked in public by soldiers. The incident happened in Bolgatanga area of Ghana and has been met with outrage by the people.
It was gathered that soldiers in Ghana are known for such inhumane brutalities and callous behaviour.
Narrating the ordeal, Yahaya Nashiru who is nursing his wounds after two army officers in Bolgatanga physically assaulted him after a mobile phone he had received from the girlfriend of one of the officers to repair got missing said that a woman identified as Halima had brought a Samsung Galaxy phone to him to unlock. But unfortunately it got missing and when he bought the same brand of phone to replace it, Halima rejected it.

Court Jails Man 14 Years for Importing Cocaine in Nigeria

A man from the south-eastern part of Nigeria will be spending over a decade behind bars for dealing in contraband products.
A Federal High ‎in Abuja on Thursday sentenced a man, Mr. Anthony Chidi Ikeaba to a 14 years imprisonment for importing 1.782 kg of cocaine into the country.
Delivering judgment in the case numbered, FHC/ABJ/CR/962016, Justice Okon Abang passed the sentence after the accused pleaded guilty to the one count of importation of the prohibited substance.
